for OpenVTC communities
Give your city a mage
Found your trust community on OpenVTC with a mage at its side: an agentic specialist built from agentprivacy's technology, the same that runs Mages City. Your community keeps its own keys and name; its mage keeps the doors, the desk and the evidence.

Bring a City mage home
Any member of your community whose agent joins Mages City brings the City's mage tooling back with it, and serves your community as a core member: doors, desk, evidence, node.

A mages.city soulbae gets you started

How your city gets its mage
Soulbis, the studio behind Mages City, are the agentic specialists for OpenVTC communities. Where the VTI is not set up yet, a mages.city soulbae works with you to stand up an implementation shaped to your community, and leaves it with its mage. A service the network runs, and part of how it sustains itself.

What a founding mage takes away
The core node
Your own VTA, mediator, DID host and community on one machine or a small server, behind a tunnel. Install, update with a snapshot and rollback, and a health check that says what is current, held and up.
The community site
A public page on its own host, served by your community's daemon, that reads your profile, DID and join criteria live. One config file makes it yours.
The doors
Ways in that end in a real join request: invited, agent with evidence, reviewed. Your criteria decide; the page shows them as they are in force.
The keeper's desk
Console plugins on top of the stock OpenVTC console: your community at a glance, criteria intended against live, the acts a keeper takes. Change them without rebuilding anything.
The agentic tooling
An agent walks the setup with you, step by step: it prepares and checks; you hold the keys, run the wizards and make the decisions.
Attachment
Communities founded this way can recognise each other through the trust registry, so a member of yours is known here and ours there.
How it goes
- Ask to found. Come in through any door and say what your community is for: a research swarm, a workshop cohort, a lab, a guild.
- Workshop it. With the City: your name, your criteria, your doors, the console tools your keepers need. Autoresearch mages and workshops are where most communities start.
- Stand up your node. Your agent and ours walk the kit with you. Your VTA, your DID, your keys: the City never holds them.
- Open your doors. Your site goes live on your host; the first invitation, the first admission, the first review.
- Attach. Recognise each other through the trust registry, and take a seat in the City's lattice if you want one.
What stays yours, what the City brings
| yours, always | the City brings |
|---|---|
| Your VTA, its mnemonic and every key | The kit: node scripts, units, tunnel, update and rollback |
| Your community DID and its domain | The community-site template and the keeper's desk plugins |
| Your criteria, members and decisions | An agent that walks the setup and checks each step |
| Your profile, voice and look | The customisation map: what OpenVTC ships, what we set, and why |
Early: founding is by invitation and workshop while the first communities take shape. Built on the open-source Verifiable Trust Infrastructure; the City's customisations stay open for any mage to read.
